Cibeles Fashion Week - MADRID II

Ana Locking bets in geometry in the collection. An elegant collection that was acclaimed by the majority of the public. Ana, uses deconstruction in their jackets. Ana knows the technique and she realizes it perfect as you can see in previous proposals. How ever, chosen shoes are wonderful. The collection explains perfectly the personality of Ana, an artist and wonderful person.

David Delfín presented his collection Dyogenes Syndrome. Made a collection with a lot of overlap creating garments woven with many details. The collection evolved and we could enjoy the conceptual work that we are accustomed. Once again, the shoes were by Christian Loubotin. Linking art that Madrid is living (ARCO), David Delfín used the artist Christian Boltanski to create a mountain of clothing above runway, concerning the name of the collection Dyogenes Syndrome. I like the image brand that David Delfín owns. Their collections are more conceptual and clothing are not very surprising.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada celebrated 30 years in Madrid fashion week. The collection surprised, Agatha reinvented in this show. Personally I don’t like Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, but I admire his ability to have created an empire and a brand that works and sells.

FELICIDADES!
Andres Sarda has done an excellent collection, inspired by Latin American culture. It was a combination of excellent choices. Starting with the magnificent jewels by Rabat, catalan company recently installed in the capital. Followed by the choice of shoes, Jeffrey Campbell (made in Elche, Spain) and ending with the choice of music, guitars, marimbas and rancheras. This combination has made the parade of Andres Sarda surprising, it was a show, which amused me. Passed a long time that I was not surprised with a collection of Cibeles. I think the last one was the collection of Jose Castro, Aurora, which was the craziness collection I ever seen. CONGRATULATIONS!

I do love all the geometric prints and colour blocking in the collections.

Jeremy Campbell shoes are very hit and miss for me, as sometimes they're a tad too 70s. Some of the ones in the photos do look amazing though.
